Greetings everybody! My name’s Philip Hughes, and I’m from a town called Northampton in England. This is my 5^th year at Dara, and I’ll be teaching M4 SEEK and M6 two-skills. I’m also studying for an MA in Education, so I will be very busy this year!  In my free time, I like to play the guitar, surf the internet, and play football.

I love teaching at Dara. The students are always cheerful and good-natured, which makes the school a great place to be. I like to think that my lessons are educational…but also fun! As well as reading and writing, I try to engage my students with games, videos, and interactive activities that are designed to get them interested and excited to learn English. In my experience, learning English can be difficult and scary for students, so it’s important to engage my students and make sure that they’re having a good time whilst they’re learning.
