Howdy! My name is Martin Keough and I am very excited to be returning to Dara Academy for my fourth school year of teaching English in the Prathom 6 NP Program. In addition, my role at Dara also includes that of Prathom Group Coordinator and Employee Support Coordinator. I’m really looking forward to meeting all my new students this year. Let me tell you a little bit about myself:
I come from a very small town called Perry, near Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States of America. My qualifications include a B.A. in Political Science, B.A. in Russian & Central Eurasian Studies, an M.A. in International Relations, and an M.A. in Russian, Central, and East European Studies. I am a fully certified teacher in both the United States and Thailand, licensed to teach English for Speakers of Other Language, Social Studies, and Elementary Education K-6. I have been teaching in various capacities (as a tutor, counselor, graduate teaching assistant, and English teacher) for many years. I first moved to Thailand in 2012, and have been teaching English full time in Chiang Mai ever since.
I truly enjoy working with all of my wonderful students and colleagues at Dara Academy and feel lucky to have to opportunity to help our NP Program develop and prosper.
