Hello readers! My name is Brian Williamson and I teach Prathom 2. I’m from Scotland, a country that is part of the United Kingdom. This is now my fifth year teaching at Dara Academy and I’m still really enjoying the experience. Before I came to work at Dara Academy I worked as a teacher at N.I.S. International School in Chiang Mai, and also at the Faculty of Tropical Medicine at Mahidol University in Bangkok, as an assistant research administrator with the Office of Research Services.

In my role as a Prathom teacher I enjoy helping the students develop their English language skills, and as such watch them gain greater confidence in communicating with others using these skills. Living in Thailand gives me the opportunity to learn many things about other cultures, and every day I have an opportunity to be with some great people. I hope to be able to continue for many years to come!
