Hello everyone! My name is Lara Mills, but most people call me Lala. I am originally from Connecticut in the United States.

I graduated from the University of Vermont three years ago where I majored in mathematics. I have always had a passion for traveling so shortly after graduating I moved to Phuket, Thailand and began teaching math to Matayom students in the English Program at Satree Phuket School. I found my job to be incredibly rewarding, but I wanted to explore other areas of Thailand so I decided to move to Chiang Mai. I find Chiang Mai to be such an amazing province and am so happy to be living here!

This is my second year at Dara Academy. Last year I taught English to Prathom 1 and had such a blast! I am thrilled to be teaching Prathom 1 again this year! The students were all so wonderful and I am incredibly excited to meet my new students this year! I am very thankful for this wonderful opportunity to work at Dara and look forward to meeting everyone!
