Hello everyone!  My name is Paul Parzyszek and I will be teaching Prathom 3 NP, Prathom 3 Two-Skills, and Prathom 4 Two-Skills this year.  This is my first time teaching at Dara Academy and I’m very excited to start the year!

I am originally from a small town in the American state of Connecticut, next to New York.  I was educated at the University of Connecticut with a degree in English, and then at Central Connecticut State University for an English teacher certification.  I have taught for one year in America as a High School English teacher.  In February 2016, I moved to Chiang Mai and received a TEFL certification at SEE TEFL.  This is my first time living in Thailand and I’m already in love with Chiang Mai!

Outside of the classroom I like to travel, swim, and hike.  It is my dream to visit Doi Inthanon during the winter and hike to the top.  I also enjoy painting, making clay pottery, and picking fruit to make jam.
