Hello! My name is Nigel from New York, in the USA. This is my first year at Dara and I will be teaching an NP class and two-skills classes in Prathom 4, and two-skills in Prathom 6. I am very excited to meet all of the new students and many co-teachers. I hope the students will have as much fun learning as I do teaching!

I graduated from university in 2013 with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education. Last year I taught my very first year of first grade on a small American island in the Pacific Ocean called Saipan. I lived there for a year and half, and soon after decided to teach English in Thailand. I received my teaching English certification in Vietnam, and travelled throughout South East Asia. Chiang Mai was my favorite city, so I decided to make it my new home!

When I am not teaching and planning lessons, I love to read, cook, and travel. I am still new to this city so I have a lot to learn and see!
