Hello everyone! My name’s Elizabeth Beattie and I’m from Wellington, New Zealand. This is my first year at Dara Academy. I will be teaching Matayom 1 NP and 2 skills, and also Matayom 5 2 skills. I am excited to meet all of my fabulous students.

I graduated from the University Of Otago in 2012 with a Bachelor of Physical Education. After completing my degree I travelled around Southeast Asia for 3 months. When I returned to New Zealand, I really missed Thailand and after 6 months I decided to move here! I have almost always worked with children of various ages and absolutely love it so teaching, and living in such a wonderful country is perfect for me. I have been living in Thailand for about two and a half years. Before working at Dara Academy I was teaching English and PE in Rayong.

I am very excited about my first year at Dara Academy. I am looking forward to an excellent year with all the great students and fellow teachers.
