Hello everybody!

My name is Rebecca, or Becca, and I am from Ontario, Canada.

I graduated from Trent University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociocultural Anthropology, and International Development Studies, with an emphasis on linguistics.

I am the substitute teacher at Dara this year, so I’ll be teaching every level of student, as well as the Thai teachers. I also have an assigned 2-skills class, with Matayom 5.

I am so happy to be living in Chiang Mai, and working at Dara academy!! I can’t wait to get to know the students more, and gain more teaching experience.

Last semester I worked as a Matayom teacher at a school in the province of Udon Thani, and I’ve taught in classrooms in Canada, as well as Bolivia.

I absolutely love live music and dancing, and in my spare time I like to ride my bicycle, do yoga, read, and smile at strangers!

I’m really looking forward to this year at Dara, and can’t wait to meet all the students and parents!
