Hello! My name is Darragh (pronounced Dara). I am from Tuam, Galway in the West of Ireland. It is my first year at Dara Academy and I am teaching NP classes to Matayom 2 and 2 skills classes to Matayom 3 and Matayom 4. I am very excited to be teaching at this brilliant school and I am looking forward to meeting all of the new students and teachers.

I studied Business Studies at G.M.I.T in Ireland before studying to teach English as a foreign language. I have previously taught English in Ayutthaya and Phang-Nga in Thailand and I am delighted to be teaching in Chiang Mai this year.

When I’m not teaching I love to travel around Thailand and I look forward to seeing more of the area around Chiang Mai and swimming in some waterfalls. I also have a great interest in music and love to play the guitar and write songs.
